Web Update and New Entries in the Mixed Voices Catalogue

We have just updated all sections of the website. In the catalogue, we have introduced these new scores in the Mixed Voices section:

  • Agur Maria: Score written for Carlos Gorritxo and the vocal group Elkhos, premiered in 2021.

 

  • Amorioa: Suite of Basque music commissioned by Euskal Herriko Gazte abesbatza. Premiered in 2021 at the International Choir Competition of Tolosa.

 

  • Benedictus: Commissioned work for the Chamber Choir of Garachico, Tenerife, premiered in 2021. Piece for a 4-part mixed choir with divisi and solo discant.

 

  • Bi euskal Kantu: Original creation based on Basque folk texts, written for the 20th anniversary of the Coral Voces Nostrae of Medina de Pomar and premiered in 2023. Free download score.

 

  • Boga boga: Arrangement of the traditional Basque melody commissioned by the Easo Choir in 2020.

 

  • Cançó d’amic: Commissioned work for Joan Company and the UIB Choir of Mallorca, with text by Teodor Suau, premiered in June 2021.

 

  • Espejismos: Commissioned by Esteban Sanz for the 10th Choir Conducting Course of the Summer Courses at the University of Cantabria. With lyrics by Miguel Ibáñez, it was premiered in July 2019.

 

  • Foliada de Santiago: Commissioned by Ourencanto, premiered in 2022. In a format for a 3-part mixed choir, bagpipe, and piano, with the possibility of performing it with an orchestra.

 

  • Goazen adoratzera: Arrangement of the popular Polish carol. Premiered in 2021, with the option of performing it with a brass quintet.

 

  • Iragan festa biharamunean: Arrangement for 3 mixed voices of the popular Basque melody of the same name, commissioned by the Federation of Choirs of Gipuzkoa for the Kukubiku Kantak II project.

 

 

 

  • Setia: Commissioned in 2020 by Masashi Kishimoto for the UITM Chamber Choir of Malaysia.

 

  • Vidi aquam: Commissioned by José Martínez and the Coral Pueri Cantores María Briz de Guadix, for their 25th anniversary, in 2021.

 

  • Vinde ver o neno: Arrangement of the Galician carol made for the Cantiga and A Xunqueira choirs in 2019.”
