The Xesús Bal y Gay Foundation will hold the 3rd Mariñaencanto concert, a Children’s and Youth Choir Encounter of A Mariña Lucense, next Sunday, March 1st, at 1:00 p.m. in the Auditorium – House of Culture of Burela. This event continues to grow and this year has reached a record number of participants.
A total of 270 children and young people from 12 schools in the region will take to the stage in a joint performance that highlights the work done in the classroom with choral singing. The project is thus consolidating itself as one of the leading musical initiatives in the area, promoting artistic training and exchange among students from different municipalities.
The program will be the culmination of months of preparation and collective rehearsals, in which the different groups have worked on a common repertoire designed to showcase both the vocal quality and the expressive richness of the new generations. The final stage of the project will arrive this weekend with the last dress rehearsals under the artistic direction of Josu Elberdin Badiola, renowned for his extensive experience in the choral field. The musician will be in charge of coordinating and finalizing the concert, which will take place on Sunday morning at 1:00 p.m. in the Auditorium – House of Culture of Burela and promises to fill the space with enthusiasm, harmony, and young talent.
