Elberdin in the Laudate Pueri – 2nd International Children’s Music Festival in Kaunas (Lithuania)

The next 3 of March Kaunas School of Sacred Music organized the Laudate Pueri – the 2nd International Children Choir and Suzuki Method Festival in Kaunas, Lithuania

 

The program of the festival offers the seminars for music teachers, choral singing masterclasses, and concerts by Suzuki Method instrumentalists & ensembles. The closing concert will bring together the Cantores David Choir of Kaunas School of Sacred Music and the Suzuki Method  violinists and cellists from Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania.

 

The main participants there will be 300 pupils (age 6-19) studying choral music and about 100 Suzuki method students (violin and cello), a good part of them from Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia.

 

For this year they invited to Josu Elberdin as a lecturer for music teachers and choir conductors, and to done a Marsterclass with  Cantores David Choir.

 

As well in the afteroon will be a closing concert  with all the groups, when they will premiered, among other works, Laudate Pueri, commissioned to Josu Elberdin for youth choirs, piano and strings.

11.00am – 2.00pm – Masterclass with Cantores David Choir / Josu Elberdin

‍5.00pm – 5.45pm – Rehearsal for the 6.00 pm closing concert / Violins, Cellos & Orchestra

‍6.00pm – The closing concert of the festival
