The Malaysian Choral Eisteddfod – International Choral Festival (MCE ICF) is an annual event regarded as one of Malaysia’s largest and most prestigious choral festivals. It serves as a platform for singers, choirs, conductors, and teachers to work and interact with a distinguished team of international choral specialists. The event will take place in Kuala Lumpur from August 19 to 23.
MCE ICF 2026 is more than just a festival; it is an experience centered on human connections and shared moments. It features choral competitions across various levels, numerous workshops, and special concerts. Additionally, the event is part of the Asian Grand Prix.
Josu Elberdin will attend to serve as a juror and conduct a workshop on Basque music (“A Basque Landscape”).
