The Choral Pueri Cantores “Maria Briz” in collaboration with the Municipality of Guadix has organized the I Choral Conducting Course for Children and Youth choirs “Maria Briz” in Guadix (Granada) for February 13-15.
The course, which will be conducted by Josu Elberdin, is aimed at choral conductors, teachers and music teachers, singers, students and the general public interested in child and youth choral and to acquire or improve their management technique, reherasal methodology…
The course will consist of periods of time dedicated to solving doubts and questions from the teacher concerning the daily work of participating students and their associations, as well as practical reherasals in which he applies these issues working with a practical choir.
In the course will cover aspects such as vocalization techniques, gesture, repertoire, rehearsal dynamics…

Friday 13 February:
19- 21:30 h. Presentation and class for participants conductors
Saturday February 14:
10- 10:30 h. Class for participants conductors
10:30 – 12 h. Working session with the choir
12- 12:30 h. pause
12.30 – 13.30 h. Working session with the choir
13:30 – 14 h. Class for participants conductors
16:30 – 17 h. Class for participants conductors
17 – 19.30 h. Working session with the choir
19.30 – 20.30 h. Class for participants conductors
Sunday February 15:
10-12 h. Working session with the choir
12-13 h. Class for conductors and delivery of certificates
18’30 h. Final Concert Course

To attend this course is required to email the registration form and pay the enrollment fee (50 €). Upon receipt of income, will be sent the scores that
they go to work in the course.
